Current Endeavors

Dr. Hatcher is working to solidify a philosophy and theory of holistic care. Through his engagement in both philosophical and theoretical levels of discourse, Dr. Hatcher aims to establish a framework that guides the provision of holistic care. Appreciating the complexity of the human experience in light of the lack of guiding models that capture both essence and practical guidance motivates his work. Alongside this vision, Dr. Hatcher is developing content to promote a holistic understanding of the human experience. Through videos, presentations, books, and blog material, Dr. Hatcher aims to spread awareness.

In addition to his scholarly endeavors, Dr. Hatcher maintains a private Integrative Psychiatry practice, Catharsis Health, where he practices the nuances of his developing model. He brings a holistic approach to the care of individuals struggling with mental health symptoms, struggling to find wholeness.

“Healing is a rhythmic process of reorganization toward wholeness expressed through interrelated layers of human experience.”
